Questions to ask when evaluating iilmaa — asking for written answers: depth in Hifz and madrasa workflows, offline limits, data ownership, setup support, and what is NOT included. We publish our own answers here — give the same list to any other vendor; a vendor unwilling to write answers is itself information.
Questions and iilmaa’s answers
| Question | iilmaa’s answer |
|---|---|
| Are sabaq-sabqi-manzil separate fields in Hifz records? | Yes — per Juz/Surah, Tajweed scored 1–5 |
| Offline entry and sync? | Yes — attendance/fees/marks on the mobile app, auto sync |
| One student, multiple batches/courses? | Yes — one ID, multiple memberships |
| bKash/Nagad gateway and auto-receipts? | Yes — included in the package |
| What is NOT included? | Own hardware (biometrics), custom development — stated clearly |
| Data export and exit path? | Excel/PDF free, anytime |
The third question matters most: a vendor who states clearly “what is not included” is the trustworthy one — a vendor claiming everything exists is not lying necessarily, but keep the yardstick out.
Verification method
- Not verbal answers — get them written.
- For every written claim that can be shown in a demo, ask to show it.
- Verify with real data in a trial — see the trial-acceptance rules.
Comparison questions: workflow steps and limitations
- Give the same question list to every vendor — the shape of the answers is the comparison.
- Anything unclear in an answer — re-ask as “please elaborate”.
- Limitation: even written answers can be wrong — verify with real data in the trial; written + trial together, one alone is not enough.
Questions: questions to ask before your demo
- Can you answer this list before the demo?
- For what is missing — is it on the roadmap, in writing?
Every answer on this list already exists on our public pages: pricing, madrasa operations, security, the batch requirements checklist — and the full comparison method in the evidence-first article. To start, see the free demo.
Questions FAQ
Won’t these questions seem rude to vendors?
Not rude — good vendors love questions; discomfort belongs to the vendor whose discomfort is the problem.
Is a written answer enough?
No — written + demo-seen + trial: all three; one alone is not enough.
Which question is the most important?
“What is NOT included” — this answer shows the vendor’s honesty; be careful with all-yes vendors.
