The academic year restarts on January 1 — a new admission cycle, a new fee session, new registers. To go digital from January 1, the decision and setup must finish in December: asking staff to learn a new system during the first week of admissions is practically impossible. The good news: done in the right order, the whole preparation fits into December’s four weeks — and setup itself takes 30 minutes.

December, week by week

Week 1 (Dec 1–7): data preparation

  • Bring current students’ names, class-section and guardian phone into one Excel sheet, from wherever they live.
  • Write the fee structure on paper: per class, number of installments, who gets waivers.
  • Start your free trial this week — no card required, so there’s no “look later” risk.

Week 2 (Dec 8–14): real work in the trial

  • Import via Excel and take attendance for 10 students — the 30-minute setup guide.
  • Generate one month’s fee invoices; test partial payments and receipts.
  • Seat whoever will use the system most — training ownership should rest with one person.

Week 3 (Dec 15–21): full data + guardian channels

  • Import the whole roster; verify guardian numbers (wrong numbers = wasted SMS).
  • Turn on absence-SMS and dues reminders — notification setup.
  • If you run a Hifz department, have its teachers trial entry — the Hifz module.

Week 4 (Dec 22–31): January-ready

  • Set up January’s classes-sections-routine in the system — on Jan 1 you only take attendance, not set up.
  • Tell guardians: “receipts and notices now come in the app/SMS.”
  • Switch new admissions to the digital form — every January admission is born in the system.

Why December, not January

The first week of January stacks three things at once: admission crowds, fee collection starting, and new class routines. Add system-learning and something falls back to paper — and paper rarely takes things back. Finish setup in December and every record from January 1 is born in the system — a full year’s history builds itself.

What does it cost?

Gold ৳1,500/month — all modules up to 500 students (full comparison). Setup help and training included. And you start with a 14-day free trial — a December trial ends before you have to decide anything.

Checklist FAQ

Can we start mid-December and still be ready by January 1?

Yes — setup is 30 minutes; the rest is data-prep labor. Earlier is calmer, though.

Do we need last year’s records?

Bring the current roster and due balances — not old months’ attendance history. What to migrate and what to leave is a separate guide.

How will staff learn the new system?

We train during setup, and the documentation has a Bangla guide for every task — that’s why new teachers learn it in a day.
