Step 1: Create the institution account
Sign up for a trial at app.iilmaa.com. Enter the institution name, type (school/coaching/madrasha) and an admin account — your 14-day trial starts immediately, no card required.
Step 2: Set up the academic structure
Configure the academic year, classes, sections and subjects. For madrashas, the Hifz/Kitab departments switch on automatically.
Step 3: Add students and staff
Bulk-upload with Excel/CSV, or add records one by one. Don’t skip guardian phone numbers — notifications and the parent portal run on them.
Step 4: Take the first attendance
Log into the mobile app, pick a class — one tap per student, and absentees trigger an automatic parent SMS.
